Refund Policy

Draft for legal review. This document describes how rent-gpu.app works today, but it has not yet been reviewed by counsel and may change before launch.

Unused credits

Credits never expire. You can get unused credits from a purchase refunded to the original payment method within 30 days of buying them. We deduct the payment processor’s fee for that purchase. After 30 days, credits stay on your account but are not refundable, except where the law requires it. Promotional credits are never refundable.

Credits bought with stablecoins

Credits bought with USDC or another stablecoin are not refundable, except where the law requires it. When we must refund one, Stripe sends stablecoins back to the wallet that paid. We can’t send them to a different wallet or pay them out as cash.

Automatic credits for problems

You don’t need to ask for these. They appear on your billing ledger.

• Failed start: if an instance doesn’t start, every second charged is refunded and you get a $0.50 credit.
• Machine unreachable: when a machine stops responding for more than 5 minutes, GPU charges stop until it is back. Disk charges continue, because your data is still kept.

Usage you ran

Usage is charged per second for what actually ran, with no minimum. It isn’t refunded because a job didn’t produce the result you wanted. If you think a charge is wrong, email us with the instance id and we will check it against the ledger.

Host plan fees

Every host plan starts with a free 30-day trial. After that, plans are billed monthly in advance. You can cancel or change plans at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you paid for, and partial months are not refunded.

Email support@rent-gpu.app from the address on your account. We answer within 2 business days, and card refunds reach your card in 5 to 10 business days.
